Association
of African Distance Learning Centres – (AADLC)
Is a partnership of
over 15 learning centers (AADLC Affiliates) in African Countries.
AADLC Affiliates collaborate in holding events that connect
people across countries and regions for learning and dialogue
on development issues. Offering a combination of distance
learning tools such as interactive videoconferencing
and the internet, and expert facilitation and learning
techniques, AADLC Affiliates enable individuals, teams,
and organizations working in development around the
world to communicate, share knowledge, and learn from each
others’ experiences in a timely and cost-effective
manner.
Current
News 
The
8th eLearning
Africa conference will be held from May 29th
to 31st , 2013 at the Safari Conference Centre, Windhoek,
Namibia.
The
key networking event for developing eLearning capacities
in Africa, eLearning Africa 2013 will be hosted by Namibia's
Ministry of Education in conjunction with the Ministry of
ICT.
AADLC,
and GDLN Meeting in Cotonour and Ouida Benin a successiful.
Six
years down the lane since its official registration in Tanzania
(2006), the Association of African Distance Learning Centres
(AADLC) has made strides in enhancing capacities of its
members by improving internal monitoring and evaluation
system. The AADLC has also managed to organize its 11th
Annual General meeting with GDLN and other
stakeholders to establish new partnership in areas of capacity
building, the meeting held from 26th May 2012 in Cotounor
and Ouida, Benin respectively.
The
Association of African Distance Learning Centres signed
an MOU for collaboration with Health Care Global. The two
institutions brings an oppirtunity for professional development
for medical doctors through planned knowledge sharing events
and awareness on health issues. Initially, it is expected
to run monthly health clinics through videoconference and
quertely face to face consultations between HCG in Bangalore,
India and TaGLA in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania . TaGLA is among
14 affiliate members of AADLC.
AADLC
organized a Workshop on Knowledge Transfer in Change Management
held in Mombasa Kenya from 24th - 27th January 2012.Read

AADLC
signed an MOU to collaborate with Galilee International
Institute of Management in joint capacity development Initiatives.
The MOU opens a new era that brings an intensive experience
from Galillee Insitute on knowledge sharing and executive
training while AADLC brings a over eleven years of technology
enabled capacity development experience through a growing
membership of its 14 affiliates in Africa. In the photo,
